Duration - 6 Days
Overview
This 60 hour course not only covers trauma injuries (gunshot, stab and blast injuries) but also looks in depth into more likely medical emergencies, such as heart attacks, angina, diabetes and asthma and the most likely event of all, even in hostile environments such as Iraq, road traffic accidents (including problems associated with car design). With ever increasing deployments to volatile areas it is now more than ever important that teams have the support of an advanced medic able to work with the team in hostile locations. The shortage of qualified Medics is now very apparent with PSD Companies paying up to $500.00 extra per day above the normal PSD pay rates.
