Overview

This programme is intended for trainers who want to deliver physical intervention training within the Level 2 Award in Door Supervision. It covers the knowledge and understanding of the areas that are relevant to the role of a trainer delivering Physical Intervention.

On successful completion of the course candidates will be given the full CRW/Elite Training Pack.

This pack is provided under a FREE Licence, which will enable you to deliver the Level 2 Physical Intervention Skills for the Private Security Industry programme through any of the SIA Recognised Awarding Bodies.

Course Content

By the end of the programme candidates will be able to:

• Assess the training environment to reduce risks in preparation for physical  intervention training

• Assess physical intervention skills

HABC Level 3 Delivery of Physical Intervention Training
HABC Level 2 Physical Intervention Skills for the Private Security Industry

Course Requirements

All candidates for this programme must have successfully completed a Level 3 PTLLS course (or equivalent) and a Level 3 Conflict Management Trainers course. Please see our Security Trainers Award for further details.

It is also an industry requirement that you undertake Annual Refresher Training to maintain certification.
